Alberta Brain Injury Network (ABIN) – Central AB Region: Have you sustained a brain injury, are 18 or older, and live independently (do not live in a staffed facility)?  If so, you can access this program. Our program is client focused and strengths-based.  As Service Coordinators we assess needs, connect individuals to appropriate resources; which often include Income Supports, Mental Health Supports, In Home Supports, and assist individuals in navigating these processes.  Our goal in to increase independence, to that end, we offer a Supports for Community Living Program assisting clients with life skills and rehab goals.  This program offers dedicated client hours to work toward specific goals; that can include bus training, cooking, or implementing compensatory strategies as well as affective supports.

Canada’s rate of mesothelioma corresponds with the country’s long-held infatuation with asbestos, whose fibers cause all forms of the disease.
