The Carbon and Area Restoration Society invites all Carbon and area residents
to visit the museum and learn about one of Canada’s oldest unsolved murder
cases. Admission is Free

Carbon Sports Day: 2nd weekend in June (June 8, 9 and 10 – 2018)

  • Community Breakfast (8 – 10 am at Hall)
  • Parade starts at 11 am
  • Community Garage Sale (starts at 9 am)
  • Soccer Tournament (starts at 9 am)
  • BBQ Roast Beef Supper (5:00 – 7:00 pm at Hall)
  • Dance at hall
  • SLOW PITCH TOURNAMENT (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Oktoberfest: 3rd Saturday in October (20, 2018)

  • Alumni Volleyball Tournament – Friday night & Saturday – call Marci to register 403-820-5977, $50 Team Entry Fee
  • Pancake Breakfast at Hall (8:00 am – 11:00 am); Library fundraiser, Donations accepted
  • 2 – bit Carnival (12:30 pm – 3:00 pm at Carbon School), $1 admission, 25 cent games, prizes and cupcake sale
  • Carbon Lions Traditional German Supper – 5:00pm to 7:00pm – Cost: $15/person, $5/kids (6-12), Under 5 years: Free
  • Adult Cabaret  – Hell City Express Live Band – 9:00pm to 1:00 am – Free Admission before 10pm: $15 / person after 10pm

Every year the Carbon Lions awards prizes to the top three light displays in Carbon and surrounding area (rural participants must register). Judging occurs typically the third week in December. Read the November & December Village Newsletter for details.
