Licensing your animals is not just the Animal Bylaw, but also a way to protect your adored pets. If your pet happens to go missing, the tag it is wearing can be tracked back to the Village Office where your name and phone number is on file. If you choose not to purchase an animal tag and your pet is found at large, you will be fined as per the Master Fees Bylaw 2020-846.

Are now available at the Village Office for $10.00 and are due by no later than January 31, 2022.

The Carbon Transfer Station (household garbage) will be OPEN: MONDAY, DECEMBER 27 & MONDAY, JANUARY 3

They are CLOSED on Christmas Day (Dec 25) & New Years Day (Jan 1).

We are planning on starting Junior Curling on Tuesday, January 4th. Registration will begin at 6:30 PM and curling from 7:00 – 8:00 PM. We will continue Tuesday evenings, 7:00 – 8:00 PM, for 8 – 10 weeks. An official schedule will be available on the evening of January 4th.

Other information:
• Open to youth aged 6 – 17 years.
• Cost is $20 for the season.
• Rental equipment (brooms, sliders) available for rent at $5 per piece, if needed.
• Kids should have a dedicated pair of running shoes to curl in rather than curling in the same shoes they wear outside.

The Carbon Curling Rink operates under the AHS Restrictions Exemption Program for Covid-19. Coaches and attending parents/guardians must be able to show proof of vaccination. Masks are required by all except youth while curling. Youth are not required to show proof of vaccination.
